Dear Goodvac, thank you so much for your changes—they're truly helpful and valuable, and I'm so glad you decided to join our community. :) I am simply amazed at the good quality of your changes; please keep it up, and drop by my talk page if I can ever be of assistance to you in any way. Copyvio Info
[change source]Could you tell me where This is Innovation is copied from? Exert 14:40, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- I see it's already been deleted. When I click the Twinkle "qd" button and the copyvio parameter, it asks for a url. The url does not appear on the page but in the source:
{{db|g12|url= }}
. I'm sure that if you were to look back at the deleted page, you would find a url there, for what it's worth. Goodvac (talk) 10:57, 5 December 2010 (UTC)- I found it going through undelete. I'll check on why the url doesn't appear when you use the template. Exert 14:45, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, it'd be nice to get that fixed to prevent future confusion. Goodvac (talk) 09:39, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Lincoln Library
[change source]When you get a chance, could you add one more sentence to the article on something? It's right at 800. Also, in Firefox, the coordinates keep showing up in the picture. Could you do something about that? Thanks, Purplebackpack89 15:40, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
- I added a sentence about the visitorship of the museum. I'm using Firefox also, and the coordinates do not clash with the photos, though you could add a {{-}} to bump the photos down and see if it works. Goodvac (talk) 00:24, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Howdy. We appreciate your work. I have removed the article because it appeared to be mostly duplicated without any conversion from the English Wikipedia, source article en:Britannia Stadium. Please check out Transwiki Attribution when you get a chance for some guidance. Thank you again for your hard work, and I'm here to answer any questions you have. - Thanks for the note. I have never used {{enwp based}}, so I'll go through my contributions and clear that up. Goodvac (talk) 04:42, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

[change source]First, I would like to point out that almost every reference on the English Wikipedia is a link to a web site. Second, I will see if the thin attachment on my vacuum cleaner will dust the top of books, although I don't like the noise and the curve on it is not 90 degrees.--Chuck Marean (talk) 04:29, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- You aren't understanding my argument at the RfDs. Please come back when you have thoroughly read through my comments. Goodvac (talk) 04:43, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
You permitted a vandalism or mistake to continue. In general, it pays to check back to the form of words I used, unless it is crystal clear that I made a mistake. You may wait a long time to see me make a mistake about elementary genetics. Regards, Macdonald-ross (talk) 05:19, 31 March 2011 (UTC)
- I apologize for that. I was not aware that you wrote the article, nor do I believe you write factually incorrect content. Goodvac (talk) 19:35, 31 March 2011 (UTC)

[change source]Hello Goodvac! I'm here to inform you that I've closed your RfA as unsuccessful. Currently there is no consensus to promote you. Please keep up your work here. Attitude
[change source]This is your only warning! Do not make comments like this again. Orashmatash is only trying to help; he doesn't really know who you are or how long you've been around. I understand you may be upset at the moment, but if I see this sort of this again you will be blocked from editing. fr33kman 23:21, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
- I understand Orashmatash is trying to help, but you must understand that as I have written on your talk page, you have made such charged comments yourself. This is the double standard coming into play.
And why did you revert my responses on your talk page? Goodvac (talk) 00:16, 15 October 2011 (UTC)- Endorse the warning, as I was the one that brought this matter to fr33kman's attention and was going to issue a warning myself. Safe to say I'm 'uninvolved' with whatever's occurring elsewhere. Goblin 00:17, 15 October 2011 (UTC) I ♥ Chenzw!

- Care to explain? Goodvac (talk) 00:18, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- @Goodvac: I have no double standards; end of story! Everyone can see my edits for themselves. Additionally I am constantly told on my talk page what a nice and polite person I am; have a read, it's a bit embarrassing to be honest. PBP has a long history of personal attacks, assuming bad faith, arguing with users, edit warring, getting blocked and general project disruption. A stronger attitude from me was probably spot on. Hence I used "get a life"; a term that PBP uses himself on the top of his talk page. No one's told him to remove it so chances are no ones really offended. Your edit was a clear personal attack against a new user and not only did you make it, but you took the time to correct the spelling. Time you could have used to reconsider and just remove the word. Orashmatash was, as you acknowledge, only trying to help, so you purposefully jumped down his throat. It is not just the term you used but the attitude you showed in doing so. We need every new editor we can get on this project because many of our number don't edit regularly. So, watch your attitude please! fr33kman 01:21, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- I have to agree with fr33kman, Goodvac. You seem to be more interested in throwing mud lately rather than doing the volunteer work we're here to do. If you don't like fr33kman, that's your choice, but please be civil and if you do have a real problem please back it up with evidence, all evidence I've seen you supply thus far is far from incriminating. Chill man. (or girl) CRRaysHead90 | We Believe! 01:57, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice, but at the moment, I'm more engaged in content work than Fr33kman is. Goodvac (talk) 04:54, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- I am 100% certain that I have more edits to mainspace (named and anon) than you have. Also, I'm trusted by the community, whereas you are not. Saying things like "I'm more engaged in content work than Fr33kman is" is lame! I've done much more for this wiki than you have! fr33kman 00:45, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- Edits to mainspace ≠ content work. Content work entails writing articles. I never asserted that in the long run, I have more content contributions than you (although I probably do); I said "at the moment, I'm more engaged in content work than Fr33kman is" (my emphasis). All you have been doing in the past few weeks is blocking and restricting editors, not taking part in building an encyclopedia. Goodvac (talk) 01:04, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hope I'm not randomly intruding, as I suppose this is a random comment, ultimately - but, I think if we all let go of our egos we'll find a more congenial environment. Instead of focusing on our differences (also known as this, on the Internet generally), we should realize how much we have in common! [And I realize this comment of mine may be utterly redundant, but perhaps that video brightens the day of whoever's reading this, just as I thought it was a brilliant metaphor.] -- Mentifisto 02:10, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

- I'm going to hold off on responding to this because there is an outstanding issue that needs to be addressed. I said that Orashmatash had a bad attitude; you say that I have a bad attitude. Why do you consider the former statement a "clear personal attack" and not the latter as well? I find this baffling. Goodvac (talk) 04:54, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Because he is new and you are not! He was told off and learned from it. You claim to be experienced enough to run for admin, thankfully you did not succeed. fr33kman 00:45, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
- Whether a statement is a personal attack does not depend on to whom it's directed.
Yes, I have claimed to be experienced enough to be a competent admin and I stand by that claim. Bringing up past events in an attempt to discredit my stance right now is inappropriate. Goodvac (talk) 01:04, 30 October 2011 (UTC)

Seriously. Quit with the attitude and with questioning everything that happens that you don't like. I don't care what's gone on, but cut it out, as, frankly, it's just getting a little bit tedious. I, for one, am fed up, and you've already had a warning from fr33kman for the attitude. If it continues, I will be taking this to WP:AN. Goblin 20:21, 15 October 2011 (UTC) I ♥ Gordonrox24!
- I asked for a link to a discussion that showed consensus of the PGA requirements. How is that showing a bad attitude?
And I never said I didn't like the additional requirement. I just wanted to see where consensus was achieved regarding it. Goodvac (talk) 20:23, 15 October 2011 (UTC) - Frankly, you aren't being constructive yourself. [1] [2]. Stifling discussion isn't helpful. How about actually contributing to content? Goodvac (talk) 20:28, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
I've opened a discussion in regards to the nomination time frame at Wikipedia_talk:Proposed_good_articles#Renomination_time_frame. All insight/comments are welcome! Only (talk) 21:23, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks, Only, for starting that discussion! I'm just concerned that the requirement Bluegoblin7 mentioned hasn't been discussed. Neither I nor anyone else would appreciate a requirement being unilaterally instituted. Goodvac (talk) 21:26, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
