Current requests for rollback[change source]

User:CopernicusAD[change source]

I'm a rollbacker on en.wikipedia. Though I might not have enough edits on this wiki, I can make wikipedia a better place. See-[1] CopernicusAD (talk) 16:42, 21 March 2017 (UTC)

I would like to request for rollback rights because I have been reverting a lot of vandalism and I currently have more than 800 edits. I have also warned users because of vandalism and reported users on Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress. Pkbwcgs (talk) 18:35, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
X mark.svg Not done You are currently blocked here. You have identified some changes as vandalism that were not vandalism. Moreover, you have apparently retired from this wiki, so there is no need to give you any rights. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:12, 22 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi everyone, I wish to request rollback rights. While I have not been on here for so long, I have helped revert a fair amount of vandalism, and while when I first started I wasn't perfect, other members have helped me improve. I would like the tool to help revert vandalism on this Wiki.
Thanks, MiloDenn (talk) 11:52, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
X mark.svg Not done You have less than 200 edits on this wiki (around 150, at the time of this writing). While I can see that you are active, I think it is too early to ask for rollback. --Eptalon (talk) 12:19, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
Ok, thanks for the advice, I will just keep going at it. Thanks very much, MiloDenn (talk) 12:22, 8 January 2017 (UTC)
I know I have not been on here very long, and therefore I understand if you say no, but I have since made lot's more productive edits that have helped get rid of vandalism, and while I was previously making mistakes, I now understand Wiki Policy better. Therefore I would like to re-request rollback. Thanks very much for your consideration, sincerely, MiloDenn (talk) 16:19, 20 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I wish to request the permission for Rollback rights.
I currently am a Rollbacker on the English Wikipedia and wish to have Rollbacker rights on the Simple English Wikipedia to help revert vandalism.
I wish to help improve and add more content on the Simple English Wikipedia and have the rights to revert vandalism quickly and efficiently.

X mark.svg Not done You've only been working on this Wikipedia for a few days, and I don't see any anti-vandalism work that you've done here. Some things are done differently on this Wikipedia, and some of those differences can look like vandalism if you aren't familiar with the practices here. Besides that, some of the changes you have done are contrary to our practices, such as removing links to non-existent pages. Take some time to get to know how things are different here before asking for rights. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:53, 2 December 2016 (UTC)

I know I'm probably too early on this, but I at least want to give it a shot. I've been on the Simple English Wikipedia for about a month now. I have made 227 total edits as of writing (304 edits as of 01:46, 23 February 2017 (UTC)) and the vast majority of these edits have been reverting vandalism. In addition, my quick deletion log will show you that I have tagged over 20 inappropriate pages for deletion just in the past three days. I could really use rollback to help with my vandal fighting - it's quicker than Twinkle rollback or the undo button, and I think that I could really make good use of it. Well, is there any status on this? I'm now approaching 500 edits as of writing this comment, and I would like to here from an admin as soon as possible. @Only: @Auntof6: Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 21:43, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
X mark.svg Not done Considering your history on the English Wikipedia, I do not feel comfortable with allowing you to have rollback here. Only (talk) 22:47, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
So I am now permanently unable to get any permissions here because of another project? Wow. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 23:08, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Maybe if you prove yourself here for a long time, someone might be willing to. But I can't stomach the idea of giving permissions to a user whose main account is globally locked due to abuse and has over 22 sockpuppets. I also cannot stomach the idea of allowing you to have permissions while you are STILL socking on the English Wikipedia today. Only (talk) 23:18, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
The issue at EN Wikipedia started with a single comment made by an admin at my original talk page. The hoaxes I created were not true, but they were based off of things that were true. However, an admin failed to regonize that, and made this comment. I took that as harsh and offensive, and after I called out the admin for doing such, he removed my talk page access with no good explanation given. If it wasn't for that episode, the whole socking spree would not have even happened. I was a lot more immature back then, and so I really felt the need to retaliate after that. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 23:24, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Also, I must note that my main account is globally locked for no good reason - as I was only banned on two projects then, now one project. However, even a Wikimedia Steward failed to accept that concept. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 23:27, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
You say you felt hte need to retaliate why are you still socking if you're now "mature"? Only (talk) 00:04, 24 February 2017 (UTC)

(reset indent) This is not the place for discussion about bans on another project, and therefore this thread is effectively closed. You have made your point and I have made mine. If we do not agree, we shouldn't try to continue discussing it as it will just end up in an all-out dispute. Agrave Banks --- (talk - contribs - email) 00:14, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
