The Azores are a group of nine islands located in the North Atlantic Ocean about 1,500 km (930 mi.) from Lisbon, Portugal. The Azores are full of green land, and is surrounded by the ocean.The Azores belongs to Portugal. The largest island is called Sao Miguel, (Saint Michael).^{[needs proving]}
