Bayou La Batre (pronounced /ˌbaɪlə ˈbætʃri/ is a city in Mobile County, Alabama, United States. It is included in the Mobile metropolitan statistical area. At the 2000 census, the population was 2,313. According to the 2005 U.S. Census estimates, the city had a population of 2,725.
