Removing (song) from article titles

Hi, even if there is not yet a clear need for the disambiguation, please don't remove (song) from article titles and create unnecessary redirects. Especially in the case of something as general is the word "Gone", the (song) clarification is useful.Plan for more articles to be added later. I've re-moved some of your moves. Stop moving articles, please

Many of your recent article moves such as removing (Song) (April Lavigne album) (Oasis song) etc have been done incorrectly and the moves are not helpful. 1. Often you did not correct incoming links to the old article. 2. The information in parenthesis helps. For example. Right now there is only the Oasis song, but when someone creates the Steve Winwood articles or the gameshow article, editors will have to create the disambiguation, move the Oasis article back and undo all of the incoming link changes. You are just making work and confusing things. This is not helping the Simple English Wikipedia grow and become better. Please stop. Gotanda (talk) 22:03, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

How does the information in parentheses help if no one wants to create the Steve Winwood Article? Right, there is no rule, but we often do. The question is that nobody has created the Steve Winwood article yet. Or the others. When they do, they will have to go back and add (Song) (April Lavigne album) (Oasis song) or whatever to any of these articles. It is easier and simpler to leave the information in parenthesis there. Visitors will still find the articles by searching. There is no confusion. Plus, when you did the moves, you did them incorrectly. You didn't go back and correct all the links incoming to the old article name. If you had, you would understand what I mean by the amount of work involved in moving and re-moving articles in the futre. Gotanda (talk) 22:52, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

So basically what you're trying to tell me is that EVERY. SINGLE. ARTICLE. THAT. EXISTS. ON. EN. WP. HAS. TO. EXIST. ON. SIMPLE. WP.? Because probably no one will have the idea for creating the Steve Winwood article, so there is no reason for the (song) to (Katy Perry song). And what is the matter with leaving it without a (song) until someone creates the other article that makes that article require the (song) or (artist song)? Can you please stop shouting? Consider the fact that you did not fix the incoming links. That is how to move articles correctly. Every article on En does not have to exist, but we should allow for the fact that it may, or may even be likely to, exist in the future. You're just making extra work for current and future editors. But what is the whole point of having the (song) before any article exists in the future? The rule is that an article is not disambiguated unless other articles exist under the same title. So therefore, the (song) should only exist when the other articles which require the former one to add "(song)" to the end are created.

Did I cite a rule? No. Not everything has to be a rule. But, you're just making a complicated nest or redirects. Specific article titles work well. And, you aren't doing the moves completely or correctly, creating more redirects. Gotanda (talk) 01:59, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

Simple interwikis being added to enwiki

I reverted your changes to User:Auntof6/Adding simple interwikis on enwiki. The lists there show articles that were skipped on enwiki, not here. The article title being changed on Simple doesn't affect what was skipped. It also doesn't affect whether the enwiki article has an interwiki for Simple, which is the point of the listings on the user page. I don't mind you editing this user page if you address the right issue. If you want to resolve any of the ones that got skipped, I suggest the following:

1. Go to the article on enwiki
2. Find the corresponding article on Simple. Note that the enwiki article and the Simple article may not have the same name. They don't have to have the same name, so don't feel you need to rename anything just because they don't match.
3. If either of the articles doesn't already have an interwiki pointing to the other, add one
4. Edit my user page, but without changing the title already listed. You could strike out the entry, and/or add a little note saying what was done.
