Folkspraak (also Folksprák and Folksprak; from folk 'people' and spraak 'language', which means "the language of the people") is an unfinished[1] zonal constructed language. It uses words from Germanic languages to make it easy for anyone who speaks those languages to understand it.[2] It works a lot like a lingua franca for people who speak Germanic languages.[3]
