Information technology is the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information. It includes data on internet.

Now, people have been using it with many other words from computing and other electronical words. It now covers many more fields of study than it has covered in the past.

Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities covers accessibility for disabled persons to information technology.
