Hi Alex of Canada. I'm DaneGeld (also known as Chris). I'd like to ask you if you could try and sort out the articles you're making, please. It looks like you're importing them from the main English Wikipedia, and that's a problem. The articles first of all, are not written in Simple English. This means that the target audience of this Wikipedia will most likely have difficulty understanding them. They need to be made simple so that the people this wiki is intended for, will be able to read them without difficulty.

Secondly, a lot of the things you're bringing in, contain templates which our wiki either does not have, or does not support. A result of this is that there's lot of broken templates in the work you're importing. We don't mind you contributing, but right now, the things you're adding need a lot of cleaning up. If you'd like to learn how, visit our Help section in the left hand tool bar, where you can find instructions on writing in Simple English and learn about some simple tasks here.

Please don't hesitate to ask any questions. If you reply here, I will post here too, and that keeps everything in one place!

Well, the best place to start is not to go overboard on importing stuff. Bring the articles in one at a time, and put them in your userspace. That way, you can do each article and make sure it's ok before you put it out. Putting articles on and not making any attempt at simplifying them can lead to them being nominated for deletion, and you getting warned for it. Just putting them here and leaving others to fix the problems is sorta frowned on. DaneGeld (talk) 00:54, 26 March 2018 (UTC)

It is not helpful to import articles directly from another Wikipedia without adapting them for the needs of Simple English Wikipedia. The articles already exist in their complex form elsewhere, so copies are not needed here. We also don't have enough editors here to simplify everything created this way. I have deleted all but one of the articles you created: Winter Cherry complex seemed simple enough, although the categories need to be changed to categories used here. If you would like to contribute here, I recommend reading Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages to learn how to write in the way that is required.
