No Original Research[change source]

Hi there,

I noticed that you recently made to Islam that violate Wikipedia's policies, such as this and this.

Wikipedia strictly forbids original research. You must cite reliable sources when editing. Moreover, we have a NPOV (neutral point of view) policy, meaning that inserting passages such as "In Islam, sexism is mathematically established." and "Men determine how women dress." clearly violate the aforementioned policy. In addition, we avoid overquoting (see en:WP:LONGQUOTE).

Please familiarize yourself with Wikipedia's policies (here and here).

May 2021[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent change to the page Doner kebab appears to have added wrong information and has been removed. If you think the information that you added was correct, please provide a source for the change or discuss it on the article's talk page. Please use the sandbox for any tests that you wish to make. Thank you. PotsdamLamb (talk) 07:48, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@PotsdamLamb: Hi. There's no wrong with my change. It is written as "kebap", not "kebab", in Turkish. See https://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%B6ner ("Döner ya da döner kebap...") https://tureng.com/tr/turkce-ingilizce/kebab Thanks. - Aybeg (talk) 07:55, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Aybeg: - This is English Wikipedia and how is written on other Wikipedias is not a valid source. It is listed as Kebab (see the title of the page). We also have a huge article on the English Wikipedia. It has to remain spelled that way to match the article. Please do not change it. PotsdamLamb (talk) 08:00, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia, like you did to Doner kebab. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. Ottoman caliphate[change source]

Since the Ottomans called themselves caliphs between the 14th century and the 20th century, it seems reasonable that all the Ottoman caliphs should be counted as such, since that's how they acted and were treated in their lifetimes. The only change was that the Ottomans deprived the world of the opportunity to call a different dynasty the caliphs by snuffing out the other contender. Everyone involved in 1453 and after thought Mehmed was caliph, including the Byzantines. Who else, according to the religious reasoning on both sides, was destined to capture the city of seven hills? Surely only the supreme leader of God's (enemies') armies could achieve such (un)holy success, so long prophesied, foretold in the scriptures, etc., etc. GPinkerton (talk) 19:41, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
