Your picture on your user page

Hi Indigo, it seems in your user page the picture is a cat, but seems you are acting and editing as a human. So are you actually a cat or not? Also, is the picture copyrighted or not? Hi :) There's two of us: one human and one cat. Rules say that two humans can't share an account, but there is no rule about a human and a cat. I, the human, do all the typing. He once tried to type, but he pressed random keys and it was impossible to understand what he said. So he just eats and plays now :) And he scratches vandals! About the copyright, it's copyrighted under CC BY-SA 4.0, if you click the link you can read what you can and can't do. On Wikipedia, you can always use it. Outside of Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, you have to say that I am the author (for example: Picture by Dream Indigo on Commons) and add the link I added before. Requested pages

Hey Dream, I hope you're well :),

I made a suggestion to a user that they create some of the articles listed at Wikipedia:Requested pages however instead of creating the articles they've added 11 articles to it instead, I'm in 2 minds whether to revert or not as half of me thinks they're using the page as it was intended to be used but then the other half thinks they're also unnecessarily filling it up just because they can which doesn't seem productive to me,

I just think the user will continue to do this until the page gets too big but I don't know so I wanted to get your opinion before I do anything :), Thanks, Warm Regards, –Davey2010^Talk 01:09, 5 January 2025 (UTC)

@Davey2010: Hello :D

Since they are acting in good faith, I'd leave them like that. Maybe you could suggest to create their own to-do list in a personal sandbox. I wouldn't revert simply because they seem a little anxious about the whole Wikipedia thing, and I wouldn't want to accidentally scare them away. After all, they are using the page as it's meant to be :) I believe it's fine, they're still figuring this out. I'd maybe tell them not to add too many red links, but I wouldn't remove the ones they've already added.

P.S. You asking me for a suggestion made me feel a bit like Oogway, you know, the wise Grand Master from Kung Fu Panda :D My English isn't Englishing tonight, sorry for that.

Hi, That's a good point to be fair and exactly they are :), Okay no worries I'll leave it as is :), I'll be honest I've only ever watched Kung Fu Panda once and can't remember any of it but I searched them up and it says Oogway is a wise, elderly Galápagos tortoise - I definitely agree with the first part you are wise :D, But certainly not old :)

And about vandals, they don't know anything about you, so they aren't insulting and they can't insult you personally because they literally don't know who you are :) They only really come at you when you take part in the vandalism fight, so if you don't want to interact with them, you can focus on content creation instead. If you want to avoid as many vandals as possible, don't reveal anything that could get you bullied and don't reveal any of your weaknesses either.

I put your talk page in my watchlist so that if something happens I can hopefully revert it in time. Admins will also revdel anything too ugly. Honestly, I've never been hurt by vandals' words about me, I actually laugh at them, what really hurts is reading what they say to my friends, never about me. If you want, when you receive a talk page message from an unknown user, you can wait some minutes before reading it, so that if it's vandalism it will hopefully be reverted in time. Elisa (Italian singer)

Hello! I saw that this page was moved again due to the creation of Elisa. Is a disambiguation page necessary for only two articles? For example, it:Elisa exists because there are many articles about people/other things with the same name. I was also wondering: is there able to be Elisa (singer), while the other article about another Elisa is Elisa (Japanese singer), and if so, can I request a move from Elisa (Italian singer) to Elisa (singer)? Are you talking about me I moved the page from Elisa (singer) to Elisa (Italian singer) because I made the page Elisa and 2601, you wanted to move back to “Elisa (singer)” because the disambiguation said it only had two pages? I actually added a third page to it because I think disambiguations may need at least three pages just like categories. And I saw 2601 added “about templates” to make both pages less confusing to each other. So can you keep the page “Elisa (Italian singer)” from moving please? I've reverted the IP who was adding {{about}} to articles as both articles have Italian singer / Japanese singer in the title so it's not needed ...., I would also oppose any moves as per Enwiki which also lists Elisa as a disam (Elisa disam link on Enwiki), Thanks, –Davey2010^Talk 20:17, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Hello everyone! I believe the best titles are Elisa for the disamb, and Elisa (Italian singer) and Elisa (Japanese singer) for the two singers. "Elisa (singer)" should probably be a redirect to "Elisa". Hello 😊 I should add "Dreamie" to the loved list, it's adorable! Btw I love the gradient in your Meta userpage, it makes the page look almost lucid/glossy (or glassy? How do you say it?), like a pearl. So glamorous ✨✨ Thank you for the suggestion! I might add them in the future 😄 problem is: my favourite way of being refereed to is by either using my name or avoiding pronouns by changing the sentence. However, I am also fine with simpler pronouns (especially on Simple). I'm afraid that people might think that they can only talk about me by avoiding everything or that they might believe I get mad if they get things wrong (which is not true, because I'm ok with pronouns). And I don't really know how to say all of this stuff in one short line of text, so I just put "neutral" and let people decide what's easier for them 😆 and fun fact time: before adding that, vandals assumed male, but good editors assumed female or other 😃 that's fun, I love discovering how others imagine me before telling them. I always wonder: What color of hair they think I have, is my hair straight, wavy, long? Do they think I'm tall or short…? Do they think I'm a woman? I was fixing the category Category:20th-century establishments in Serbia and Category:20th-century establishments in Saudi Arabia using {{EstcatCountryCentury}}, and when I saved it, the category was instantly removed from Category:20th-century establishments by country. @Adelaideslement8723: Hello :) It means "Long-Term Abuse(r)" (source). Sometimes they are politically-driven people (usually nationalists) who can't accept that Wikipedia is a neutral place or that refuse to believe that the propaganda they have been taught is fake (usually happens in countries with open conflicts and little democracy). Most of the time however, they are just trolls who have such a sad life that they keep vandalizing over and over. Imagine having "vandalising Wikipedia" as your only hobby lmfao.
