"Dulce Amor" (English: "Sweet Love") is a song by the American singer Selena. The song was nominated "Song of the Year" at the 1989 Tejano Music Awards.[1] Selena's brother, A.B. Quintanilla III had written the song.[2] It was the lead single from the album of the same name (1988). The song had its key signature in common time.[2] It was performed on G minor with 106 beats per minute.[2] The songs lyrics are about a girl expressing her emotions about a guy she really loves. The song was mixed with Cumbia music and Jazz fusion.
