Suryavamsam (Tamil: சூர்யவம்சம்) (transl. Lineage of the Sun) is an 2020 Indian Tamil-language family drama which currently airing on Zee Tamil and it stars Nikitha Rajesh and Aashish Chakravarthi with Poornima Bhagyaraj in the lead roles.[1] While Anitha Venkat, Caroline, Birla Bose, Gajesh, Ramachandran plays supporting roles.[2]
This series started from 27 September 2020 on Monday to Saturday at 7:00PM (IST) time slot. The story is mainly about the relationship among Family.

Kalyani's (Sandhana) family disowns her after she gets married to a foreigner without their approval. Years later, Kalyani falls sick, so her daughter Samantha "Sam" (Nikitha Rajesh) decides to reunite the family.

Launching[change | change source]
- The production decided to launch this family series before March 2020. But due to COVID-19 pandemic, this series unable to continue the shooting. After the serial shooting was permitted in India, This series started the shooting and decided to launch this series.[3]
- The first promo was released on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram by Zee Tamil website on 2nd September 2020.[4]

This series story was taken from Zee Telugu serial America Ammayi.

The series was released on 21 September 2020 on Zee Tamil and Zee Tamil HD. The show was also broadcast internationally on the network's international channels.
