August 2023[change source]

Please do not remove deletion requests from articles, as you did to "Nixon Kitimoi". If you think the article should be kept, you can comment on the discussion page, Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Nixon Kitimoi. If the result of the discussion is to keep the article, the closing administrator will remove the deletion request. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 13:13, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. It wasn't my intention to undermine the administrator. Aryan Jaini (talk) 13:17, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Aryan Jaini. When there is an RfD on an article that you want kept, such as the recent one on Nixon Kitimoi, please do not thank each person who posts in favor of keeping it. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 23:56, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Noted. But why was the page deleted? Can I recreate it with new material? Aryan Jaini (talk) 04:30, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The closing administrator has weighted all the opinions and found that the community does not think the subject is notable. You should avoid creating the article again. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 04:32, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
But it seemed like the community voted for the article to be kept and met the general community guidelines. Aryan Jaini (talk) 04:35, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is not a vote. Wikipedia is built on consensus, not votes. Weak opinions, even if there are plenty of them, are disregarded. In this case, the users who commented to keep the article didn't provide a solid reason. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 04:36, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How can I make the article better because I had found new reliable material, links to recent news clips that were going to strengthen the content? Aryan Jaini (talk) 04:39, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Read WP:RS. 88.110.38.249 (talk) 18:32, 29 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Improving Nixon Kitimoi[change source]

How can I improve my recently deleted article? Individual met the general notability guidelines plus I have new citations to strengthen notability. @Peterdownunder Aryan Jaini (talk) 05:21, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He was featured in UBC, NTV and NBS news on Thursday regarding the Economic Growth Forum by the Ministry of Finance Uganda. Maybe that can help with citations. Norah Norris (talk) 05:31, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I saw this as well. Why was the page deleted??? 41.191.79.130 (talk) 13:05, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) That article was created by Aryan Jainikkumar, not by this account. Are both accounts yours? If so, please read Wikipedia:Sock puppetry to make sure you understand appropriate and inappropriate uses of multiple accounts. It would also be good if you put a notice on each page acknowledging that you own both accounts. Thanks. -- Auntof6 (talk) 06:30, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is the account I've been using since I joined. Am I allowed to recreate the article with more information? Aryan Jaini (talk) 06:55, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Your block for sockpuppetry on the English Wikipedia does not convince me that the accounts are separate. If you do not disclose your connections with the subject of the article and the other account, you should avoid creating the article again. — *Fehufangą✉ Talk page 06:58, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have no connections to the subject. I was merely trying to add content on Wikipedia for a notable individual in Uganda. In regards to the other account, if they have not been active, please disregard it because this is my only account. Aryan Jaini (talk) 07:09, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6: At enwiki, both accounts are declared as equal, you may need to consider WP:ONESTRIKE. MathXplore (talk) 06:59, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
How best can I use the above? Aryan Jaini (talk) 07:10, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've edited my talk page "Aryan Jaini (Jaini Lakshmi Narayana). Not to be confused with Aryan Jainikkumar". Does this help? Aryan Jaini (talk) 07:48, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Teso[change source]

The page you wrote, Teso, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. MathXplore (talk) 08:16, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

September 2023[change source]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Teso" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 08:16, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Nixon Kitimoi[change source]

The page you wrote, Nixon Kitimoi, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Kk.urban (talk) 04:46, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wait. I was told I could recreate it if I had reliable citations. Plus the citations are similar to another page "Glenn Hopper" that hasn't been deleted. Aryan Jaini (talk) 04:53, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Aryan Jaini: The way to stop a quick deletion is to put a {{wait}} template on the article and explain on the talk page why the article should not be deleted. The {{inuse}} template may not be enough. You might want to ask for this article to be moved to your userspace so you can work on it there. -- Auntof6 (talk) 05:02, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Who told you you could recreate it? Kk.urban (talk) 05:08, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. This message is being sent to tell you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "Please consider WP:ONESTRIKE for Special:Contributions/Aryan_Jaini". Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 08:24, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What issue? Aryan Jaini (talk) 13:14, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It has been noted that you are the same user that has been banned on enwiki for creating bad pages. Therefore I am placing you under our one strike rule. You are being given one, and only one chance to edit here without doing the same behaviour that you did at enwiki. If you fail at this you will be blocked from editing here also. fr33kman 13:45, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
All right. But I believe it will make sense if the "Glenn Hopper" page is deleted as well because I used the subject as a reference for Nixon Kitimoi. Aryan Jaini (talk) 17:00, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
