Your recent changes[change source]

Hello, Harut111. Thank you for your recent changes. I want to mention a couple of things you might not know about this wiki.

The first thing is about categories. We want each category to have at least three things in it. This is explained at Wikipedia:Categories#Is there a need for the new category?. When you create a category, please be sure that there are already at least three things to go into it, and put them in right away. The category you created for Armenian television series had only one thing in it, so the category has been deleted.

The second thing is about stubs. This wiki manages stubs differently from other wikis. We keep the number of stub types to a minimum. New types must be approved, and are usually approved only if there are at least 1000 articles they would apply to and someone is going to actively work on expanding them. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Simple Stub Project. The stub template you created was not approved, so it has been deleted.

Again, thank you for your changes. If you're interested, I have a list of other things that are different here. The list is at User:Auntof6/Things I would like Wikipedia editors to know#Things we do here that might be different from other Wikis. If you have questions about this, feel free to ask. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:49, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The page you created is a biography of a living person. It also fails to show the subject is notable. This would be a very good time to add wikipedia:reliable sources to the article or it might be deleted. So this is a friendly heads-up to find and add reliable sources, at least a couple, to verify the information in the article. In the Welcome links above you will find information as to how to add source citations. You may also want to improve the article with more information and more source citations. If you have any questions, please ask here or at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Thanks and good luck with your articles. Rus793 (talk) 18:48, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I see we also have new stubs like LoveWave. Community consensus was reached some time ago regrding album stubs not claiming or showing notabilty. The consensus was to redirect such articles to the artist's page—if it existed—or delete it. You can read about it here: Wikipedia:Simple_talk/Archive_111#Our recent spate of new album stubs: a proposal. Again, take the time to add why the album was notable (e.g. went platinum, was #1 on the Billboard charts, etc.) and add reliable source citations. Articles and stubs sitting on the New Pages list may reviewed by patrollers and administrators at any time. So I cannot speak for others if someone decides it should be deleted. There is no set amount of time an article can be there before being nominated for deletion. So it is best to fix the problems as soon as possible. If an article is deleted it can be resubmitted once the reason for its deletion is addressed. Rus793 (talk) 19:04, 29 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

August 2016[change source]

Hello, Harut111! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links", which you used in "Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! RfD nomination of IvaVerse[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of IvaVerse, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2017/IvaVerse and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Eptalon (talk) 09:48, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
