Page "templates" and English wiki imports[change source]

Please do not create blank pages as a template, or space to go back and fill in. Pages without content will be deleted. If you want to create a page and work on it, then the best way is to create a sandbox and move it to article space when it is ready.

Copied or imported pages from the English wikipedia must be simplified for use on the wikipedia. Also, the original source needs to be acknowledged on the articles talk page. We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Clifford torus" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia.
