Referencing[change source]

You are doing an excellent job in creating new articles. One tip I can give you is do not add Wikipedia (in any language) as a reference in the Reference section. If you use material and text from a wikipedia, then put a short note on the talk page. This gets around issues of copyright. There is a template for use with the English Wikipedia, but I do not think we have one for any others.--Peterdownunder (talk) 08:04, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your advise!...--L.Shriheeran (talk) 08:06, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I found such a template here: Template:Translated_page --Peterdownunder (talk) 08:12, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

October 2014[change source]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but an article you created was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Some, if not all, of your articles about Spanish cathedrals have text from English Wikipedia that has not been simplified. If these articles are not simplified, they may be deleted. Please simplify them before you create any more. Auntof6 (talk) 17:25, 9 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Auntof6, Please don't delete them, I know that some of my articles are complex but I'm unable to simplify them as I'm not very very well in English and I'm not very experienced in simple en wiki. But I will simplify them not in now, If you can please help me in this little project. If you want you can start a project that simplifiles the complex articles in Simple English WIKI. Finally I'm asking you to don't delete that articles now. Please reply to thisǃ... --L.Shriheeran (talk) 12:35, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for replying. Articles here have to be in simple English. That is the whole purpose of this Wikipedia. Other editors might not want to simplify the articles you create, so you need to be able to do it yourself. It might help if you think of simple English as being a different language from the English used on English Wikipedia. On any Wikipedia, you write in the language used there. You wouldn't write in German on the French Wikipedia, and we don't write in full English here on Simple English Wikipedia.
You can read about how to write simple English at Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages. Another helpful page is Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia. After you read that, feel free to ask any questions you have. If you don't feel able to write simple English, you might want to either use Wikipedia:Requested pages to ask someone else to create articles you're interested in, or write on English Wikipedia instead. In any case, please don't copy English Wikipedia articles here without simplifying them and including attribution. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 21:20, 10 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Auntof6, Thank you for your adviseǃ.. I'll do my bestǃ...

I did not see that Auntof6 had already approached you about this, but copying and pasting from English Wikipedia is not very helpful here. You have to give attribution when using information from English Wikipedia and the articles are too complex. I have requested Quick Deletion for 5 recent ones: Albacete, Getafe, Jaca, Ourense, and Santander Cathedrals. If they are deleted, nothing is lost because they are copies. The original is still available at En and can be copied and simplified any time. The topics are interesting, but you are making more work for other editors to fix, and attribution is important. On review, please slow down and go back to simplify your earlier changes before making more new pages. Thanks, Gotanda (talk) 03:26, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

ː Thank you for your advise Sirǃ...--L.Shriheeran (talk) 05:05, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Gotanda, I recreated that 5 articles in A simplified english and now they are well, Please reply to thisǃ...--L.Shriheeran (talk) 06:09, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

L.Shriheeran, I asked you above to simplify the articles you had already created before you made any more. Some of these new five are simple enough, but some are not. Please do not create any more until you simplify the ones that already exist. I am going to delete a few more, and mark some that are not simple enough with a "complex" tag. Please do not remove that tag yourself. Also, if the articles are based on articles from another Wikipedia, you must give attribution. That is a legal requirement. Let us know here if you have any questions. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:12, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. I have moved two of the articles you created to your userspace for further work. Before you create any more articles, please either fix those or ask for them to be deleted. Also, since you have shown that you cannot create articles that meet our requirements, any new articles you create should be in your userspace first, until someone can revirew them. RfD nomination of List of Roman sites in Spain[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of List of Roman sites in Spain, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2014/List of Roman sites in Spain and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Rus793 (talk) 17:02, 27 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
