On SimpleWP we don't start "voting" until the candidate has accepted standing for the post. It's a technical (and mostly historic) thing, but we've always done it like that. Hi, There's a user that's recently been indefinitely blocked on the main English Wikipedia, and (rather late in the day) it is now likely to be suggested that he try Simple instead. Remembering your helpful comments regarding the wonderful Pumpie (remember him?) I thought you might be able to help encourage him, or show him around here if he does move across. Or, if you'd prefer not to take this on personally, you might be able to suggest someone who could, or where I should ask.

I don't know how to make a userbox either: I just copy the source code from another person's userbox and change a few things. I spend much of my time creating articles. Take User:Belinda/userbox, for example, and copy the code you see in edit.
