Water fuelled cars

[change source]

Undoing that edit was good. Somebody in Japan claimed to do so a couple years ago, but it would violate the first law of thermodynamics, and they didn't really offer any substantial proof. en:Water-fuelled car Kansan (talk) 22:58, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Editing other users' user pages

[change source]

While I didn't mind the edit this time, in the future, please do not edit other users' user pages without their permission. It is not considered good "WikiEtiquette". I noticed that you had been asked about this by somebody else recently. Thanks, Kansan (talk) 22:05, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What was this? Firstly, I'm not nice, and secondly, there is no category like that. But if it wasn't an accident, it does seem to be a kind compliment, and I certainly will treasure it with gratefulness! Thank you, Chemmy dear. ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 00:35, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've left a few more comments at Talk:Zinc, assuming you haven't seen them already. Albacore (talk) 22:08, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Kansan's RfCU

[change source]

Hi! To answer your question, your comments were good-faith reverted using Twinkle by DJ because the election had not technically begun yet. On SimpleWP we don't start "voting" until the candidate has accepted standing for the post. It's a technical (and mostly historic) thing, but we've always done it like that. No harm done, so don't worry about it! :) fr33kman 00:53, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I understand. I looked at the edit to the transclusion page (WP:RFP) and saw the response in the edit summary. Note the conversation on User talk:Djsasso. By the way, it was a request for oversightship. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 00:59, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hehe, yes, sorry, it's early morning here (yawn) :) fr33kman 01:05, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Gah, sorry about the templating, it seems you beat me to reverting that IP vandal. My sincerest apologies. Ғяіᴆaз'§Đøøм Champagne? 14:57, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Impossible mission

[change source]

Hi, There's a user that's recently been indefinitely blocked on the main English Wikipedia, and (rather late in the day) it is now likely to be suggested that he try Simple instead. Remembering your helpful comments regarding the wonderful Pumpie (remember him?) I thought you might be able to help encourage him, or show him around here if he does move across. Or, if you'd prefer not to take this on personally, you might be able to suggest someone who could, or where I should ask.

Anyway some of the gory details are here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Ian.bjorn_.E2.80.94_Myspacing.2C_harassment.2C_refusal_to_get_the_point and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Ian.bjorn

Thanks --Demiurge1000 (talk) 01:30, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Also, let me know if there's anything I can do. Kansan (talk) 01:33, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Now it's here, Archived Loudclaw (talk) 23:24, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I know, I had to find it in the archives the first time. Right now I am not really feeling well enough to copyedit your article, but I should get to it soon. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 01:59, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Loudclaw (talk) 22:58, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyediting  Done. This does not mean that I did a perfect job. What I did recently. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 23:14, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[change source]

How did you find me so fast? Warrior (talk) 02:32, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I want you to be my simple mentor. Loudclaw (talk) 08:38, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy, Chemicalinterest! Just a little note to let you know that I have just closed the PGA for Zinc as successful, and it has now been promoted to good article status, congratumulations! Look forward to seeing more articles from you in the future. Goblin 16:19, 25 November 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Meganmccarty![reply]

Mainspacing scale/interval articles

[change source]

They are a work in progress; I've nearly gotten all the scales out into mainspace and the rest will be soon, then I'll create the relevant pages on harmonics/enharmonics/parallel keys. If you'd like to help, feel free to edit the scale/interval articles within Special:PrefixIndex/User:Sonia/. :) sonia 23:29, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox for WikiProject Warriors

[change source]

Can you tell me how to make one, so that I can make a WikiProject Warriors one to put on the page? Also, how do you make a little badge you put in the corner of your page? I'm 12 years old now, by the way. Birthday was the 2nd of December. Loudclaw (talk) 22:54, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I made the userbox, but don't know how to make the little badge. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 01:17, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

OK Loudclaw (talk) 03:49, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

But where is it? I can't find it. Loudclaw (talk) 03:54, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Look on your WikiProject page and it will show you how to add the userbox to your userpage. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 11:58, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, ok. Thanks. How do you make them, though? I want to create a new one. (A BASS GUITAR ONE) I want to make it. Loudclaw (talk) 00:31, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Look at the source code for the one I created and replace it with your own code. The id parameter is what goes in the first box. WP:Userbox may help. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 01:05, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh! Thanks! I was just asking BG7 to be my mentor, and yes, I will behave. I want to help, try out new things I was about to but now can't on EWP. I love this site! Loudclaw (talk) 04:10, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get it. It doesn't tell me how. I don't understand it. Loudclaw (talk) 04:14, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know how to make a userbox either: I just copy the source code from another person's userbox and change a few things. I spend much of my time creating articles. Take User:Belinda/userbox, for example, and copy the code you see in edit. Then change the code there to say what you want, and save it. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 11:52, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcoming Zeebow

[change source]

Hi Chemicalinterest, the Wikipedia community is grateful for you welcoming users. But I don't agree with you welcoming Zeebow since he only made edits on his own user page only, not in the main namespace. What do you think? Hydriz (talk) 15:31, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that, but decided that he might not be editing because he doesn't know what to edit. The welcome template gave him some information. I do not normally welcome any new account, but I do normally welcome the ones that are not from en and have made at least some contributions. --Chemicalinterest (talk) 15:33, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, okay... But isn't it too soon? If his first good faith edit is distorted, we can tell him about the sandbox and editing features. Hydriz (talk) 15:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New user

[change source]

Hi. Just came to tell you of a new user. It's User:Erik.leif. I sort of told him (he's my brother) that Simple has different policies than the English Wikipedia. Well, simpler to be fair. He didn't want to in the start, because he thought the big one hated him, so I transferred him here. Loudclaw (talk) 00:33, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
