Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug
The Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (YaNAO; Russian: Ямало-Ненецкий автономный округ (ЯНАО), Script error: The function "transl" does not exist.; Nenets: Ямалы-Ненёцие автономной ӈокрук, Script error: The function "transl" does not exist.) or Yamalia (Russian: Ямалия) is a federal subject of Russia and an autonomous okrug of Tyumen Oblast. Its administrative center is the town of Salekhard and its largest city is Noyabrsk. In 2010, 522,904 people lived there.[1]
Geography: The Yamal peninsula has some large holes in the ground that are called gas emissions crater.
