Wadō (era)

Wadō (和銅?) was a Japanese era name (年号, nengō,?, lit. "year name") after Keiun and before Reiki. This period started in January 708 and ended in September 715.[1] The reigning empress was Gemmei-tennō (元明天皇?).[2]
