Did you bother to read any of the edit summaries? I'm not going to repeat them. Look at the history of the one you reverted and this. It's absolutely absurd. And I don't care what anyone sees on google, the fact that it's simple only should tell you it's not notable but I'm not here to argue that. That could be handled via Revision Delete, which leaves the question as to whether this is a valid redirect. Which in my opinion is not, but since another Admin is already reviewing this I will let them make that call. -- Enfcer (talk) 20:40, 18 January 2020 (UTC)

The fact that absolutely no one here is capable of spotting very blatant and obvious vandalism is beyond concerning and feeds the trolls. It would be like me redirecting Encfer in mainspace because you pissed me off on a Facebook comment thread. I guess the policy on attack pages doesn't apply here. Revdel action on Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2020/Filmfx studio

The three revisions on the above page were indeed disruptive to the RfD process, but I do not think they meet the standard of disruption as suggested by RD3, which listed "grossly inappropriate threats or attacks" as an example, and also specifically indicated that "normal spam links" do not qualify for RD3. In addition, removing these diffs from public view may make it more difficult for future editors to cite evidence from the RfD when it comes to self-promotion of Filmfx studio.

(talk page stalker) @Reception123: Redirects are cheap aside, which is per en, the redirect may be useful when someone typed the letters wrongly (in the wrong case) and we expect some of these here as not all users are proficient in English here. The article exists in several other Wikipedias, so there's at least a claim to notability. Yes, I agree that it could be simplified, and probably needs sources. Given we at least have 'a claim' to notability rules out quick deletion. Yes I agree: It lacks sources, and could probably be simplified. If there's a claim to notability, and you think its too weak, go through regular RfD. Add a link to the EnWP article, if it exists. (talk page stalker) @Computer Fizz: I have re-declined the QD. It is not always necessary to delete pages created by globally locked users, especially user and user talk pages. @Auntof6: Thanks for the info. But let me explain my rationales:

1) It feels offbeat for me to leave it up the state created by an LTA. Of course this acceptable in cases like GRP capitalizing the word March, but I don't see any reason here. Which is why I suggest replacing it with a sock/blocked user template.

2) Even if the QD is declined, that still doesn't justify to rollback the QD, and then make matters even worse by not replying to my statement on his talk page.

We don't have a QD option to delete pages created by a locked/blocked editor so your QD wasn't appropriate. Whether it should have been rolled back or not it definitely should have been declined and removed as it was a completely invalid request. As for not engaging with you everyone is a volunteer and may not respond in a timely manor. Secondly, readding the QD template after it has been declined by an admin is disruptive editing and could lead to a block. • Wikipedia is not social media. It is an online encyclopedia.

• Since you are closely associated with the company that the article was about, you should probably not create the article yourself. See Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for more information on this.

I'm intrigued over Madison Taylor Baez‎

I flagged it as a copyright violation. The same article is in draft unless already deleted on en WP. The creating editor contested the deletion, and the procedure here is to turn it into a deletion discussion. Now I'm fine with that, but perplexed. Does Simple WP not have the same rigour over removal of copyvios as en WP?

I didn't do an in-depth analysis of her site, but at first glace, I don't see a copyright violation. So the standard procedure is the same as with other contested deletions: go through a regular RfD. Twinkle failure

It appears a recent change to MediaWiki:Gadget-Twinkle.js has broken it's ability to parse twinkleoptions.js from User space. The latest edit was from today by Krinkle, but I'm unable to reach him currently. Would you either undo the last edit or add int admin for 1 hour for me to undo it. George Cashel Stoney (July 1, 1916 – July 12, 2012) was an American documentary filmmaker, an educator, and the "father of public-access television." Among his films were All My Babies (1953), How the Myth Was Made (1979) and The Uprising of '34 (1995).
