Basehor is a city in Leavenworth County, Kansas, United States. It is a suburb of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. In 2010, 4,613 people lived there.[5]

Basehor is at 39°8′18″N 94°56′19″W / 39.13833°N 94.93861°W / 39.13833; -94.93861 (39.138469, −94.938735).[6] The United States Census Bureau says that the city has a total area of 6.75 square miles (17.48 km2). Of that, 6.68 square miles (17.30 km2) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) is water.[1]

The 2010 census says that there were 4,613 people, 1,751 households, and 1,337 families living in Basehor.[2]
