Google Wallet (Wallet in App) is a Digital Wallet Platform started by Google and works on Android, WearOS and FitOS. It announced in May 2022 by Google I/O Keynote and Released In July 18 2022.[1]

History

Google Wallet is Brand Name used in First Name Of Company Mobile Payment[2] In 2011 Google Wallet Launched and There are Only Worked in United States.[3] In 2016 Android Pay are Started in Google I/O 2015 Keynote[4] in 2018 Google Pay was replaced by Android Pay And There is Two New countries, India and Singapore. In June 4 2024 Google Pay No longer worked In the United States, two countries were India and Singapore are still works.[5][6]

Features

Google Wallet allows users to store items in payment card via Google Pay including loyalty cards, digital keys, digital identification cards, transit passes, tickets, and health passes[7]

Google Wallet New Features that Kids allows to tap to pay in store and use with google family link app, which is limiting screen time for child safety. This features is coming in 2025[8][9]

Digital car keys in the Google Wallet can be works even screen is off or battery is dead.[10]

Google Wallet had a FeliCa-Based Payment transit, and loyalty functionality (includes Suica, PASMO, WAON, etc.) from accessed on Not Japanese devices by limiting the starting of the necessary third-party Osaifu-Keitai apps on both Android & Wear OS.
